Elemental Magick- Air Associations in Magick

In order to understand what you must use when working AIR Magick, you must know the “associations” to AIR. These would be items, with the same vibrations as the AIR Element, or activities associated with AIR. For information on these see previous blog post:

The following is a List of items associated with AIR :
Direction: East
Season: Spring (For Caribbean, Use the Spring Equinox March 20-22)
Moon: New Moon
Best Time of Day: Dawn
Colours: Yellow, Purple, Silver, White
Magickal Tools: Wand, athame, incense, Pestle (mortar and pestle), Staff
Sounds: Wind instrument sounds, bird calls
Creatures: Birds and Winged Insects
Nature Symbols: Feathers, fragrant flowers
Trees: Elder, Eucalyptus (temperate) Yellow poui, Silk Cotton, Portugal, Lime (Caribbean)
Herbs: Mint, Lavender, rosemary, thyme, Fever Grass, Lime buds
Incense: Sandalwood and lemon
Minerals: Mercury, aventurine, topaz
Tarot Card: Wands, The Fool
Signs: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Archangel : Raphael
Star: Aldebran
Elemental Creatures: Sylphs.
Goddesses: Aditi, Arianhrod, Cardea, Nuit, Urania
God: Enlil, Mercury, Thoth, Zeus.
Caribbean Centered: Smoke Ceremony done by Amerindians
Magickal Phrase: To Know
Ritual Forms: Tossing objects into the air or into the wind, numerology, incense burning, breathing, meditation, singing and chanting, numerology and writing or drawing, divination.

This list is not a complete one. There are quite a number of charts which list associations which can be found when googled. Items which are specific to the Caribbean are difficult to find, and are still being compiled.
